I stand first and foremost as a citizen of our Republic — a citizen who believes deeply in Ghana, in the ability of our people, and in the future we can still build together. After careful reflection, consultation and preparation, I have decided to seek the opportunity to serve the people of Ghana as an Independent President of the Republic.
This decision has grown from years of observing our country, studying its challenges, listening to its people and asking a simple but important question: Why should a nation blessed with capable people, abundant resources and enormous potential struggle to provide opportunity, security and dignity for so many of its citizens? Our difficulties will be solved when we build institutions that work, manage our resources responsibly, reward competence, demand accountability and place the enduring interests of the Republic above every narrower interest.

Harrison Mensah Adiko is a mathematician and statistician by training and a chartered accountant by profession. He has declared his intention to pursue an independent candidacy for the Presidency of Ghana, subject to the Constitution, the laws of the Republic, and the processes of the Electoral Commission.
